Former Cameroon international Patrick Mboma on Tuesday presented the programme of his jubilee to the media in Yaounde, confirming the presence of football legend Pele, former Liberia international George Weah and retired French player Lillian Thuram at the three-day anniversary set for May 24 to 26.A special jubilee village will be set up at the Hotel de Ville for a tour of representations of the country’s institutions and cultural sites, according to the former Paris Saint Germain and Metz top scorer. The event’s grand finale will be the much-awaited gala match between Mboma’s friends and the Indomitable Lions. The complete list of players participating is yet to be unveiled, but the 2000 African Footballer of the Year assured there would be sweet surprises."This anniversary is useful to me for several reasons: it would be an opportunity to thank the public that supported me throughout my career and beyond. Secondly, it’d be an occasion to vibrate our capital again with football and then, renowned guests will have the chance to visit our beautiful country,” the 41-year-old said.
