Editor,Allow me to respond to an article that appeared in The New Times, March, 28, titled "RDB launches another customer care campaign”. Surely, the constant customer service campaigns will yield dividends for this country.Over the years, I have personally noticed a marked improvement in customer care and service delivery in the public sector. However, there is no room to relax. Institutions like the Rwanda Tourism University College must devise better ways of inculcating the right values and approach to customer care and service delivery among their students.It is very important that on-the-job training which would bridge the gaps that exist at present is emphasized by institutions. In the meantime, it is my hope that RDB’s countrywide campaign will yield good results.Stella TetaKigali
