The second album of ASAPH choir ‘AMANI’ is undersupplied on Rwanda’s music market, The New Times has reliably observed.

Only two outlets; Nkurunziza book shop in city center and Zion Temple Church premises in Gatenga has few CDs of the Amani Album.

Speaking to The New Times yesterday, Dadou Denis Habumugisha, the Choir leader said that the team had produced only 500 pieces which could not be distributed evenly in all music outlets.

"We had few copies and distributed them on a mini launch at our church, and we also sang at restoration church, that is why we did not have enough on market.

Also a worship leader of one of the best worship teams in the country added that the team is working on reproducing between 500 and 1000 copies in Australia, which will be put on the market in the near future.

He also added that there some CDs of the lively recorded album catered by their publishers in Asia, America, Canada and Australia.

The album of 11 tracks was produced by an international producer Andy Sorenson who also produced two albums of the popular gospel Australian singer Darlene Scheck.

It was a translator recorded album at Amani guest house February last year produced in Rock, Congolese style and Kinyarwanda traditional styles among others.

ASAPH is stretching itself to reach East African market and as far as Canada, USA and Asia among other places, to find their way to international music market.

The choir leader says that the team hopes to send their messages of peace love and adoration of God to almost every body.

Given the competence that is coming up in ASAPH choir, the team will reach its goal with up coming composers like Barnabas Manyaga, Dadou Denis Habumugisha, Benediction Masmandu and others.
