It all occurred at Ishyo Arts Centre in Kacyiru, on Friday evening where it was all giggles, laughter and smiles all the way as the ‘Comedy Knights’ took revellers by storm. The show started at 7:40 pm and it went on all the way up to 10 pm with nothing on their menu but only great humour.Unlike your usual shows in Kigali, this was a special ‘Francophone show’ sponsored by the French Embassy with performances majorly in French that kept tickling everybody. The names of these stand up comedians involved in the performances included Michael, Arthur, Jerome and Alyce. They left the audience in stitches. "This started a year back when the ‘Comedy Knights’ brought this idea here at Ishyo Arts Centre, we welcomed it, and it has really grown because at first we had an audience of five people then twenty, fifty for four months but from then the number has increased. The show is monthly,” said Nadia Nkwaya, who is the centre’s project manager. "Currently, the ‘Comedy Knight’ is the most attended monthly show. The performers have really worked hard and it’s evident.” "I had heard of it before but never knew it was so interesting, I have enjoyed this show,” said Bob Martin Ndahiro - from the audience.
