UNDER-20 national team head coach Richard Tardy has confirmed that his team will play two international friendly matches against Gabon’s U-20 team as part of their preparation for Africa U-20 qualifier against Namibia scheduled for April 22.According to Tardy, the Junior Wasps will pay the first match on April 3 and the second match three days later, both matches will be played in the Gabonese capital Libreville.Tardy’s team has already played two build-up matches against their Ugandan counterparts, where the first match ended in a draw 1-1 in Kigali, while Rwanda won the second game 2-0 in Kampala."The two matches will help to get ready for the Namibia qualifier,” the former U-17 team coach said.The Frenchman, who took Rwanda’s U-17 team to the Fifa Word Cup in 2011 in Mexico is happy with the progress of the players and hopes they’ll only get better before the Namibia match.Bonfils Kabanda from France, Kagabo, Yakuba, Jean Marie Rusingizandekwe and Nirisalike from Belgium, will join the camp on April 14 and 15 respectively.The other players, who will join camp soon, are Bonnie Bayingana (Express) and Charles Tibingana Mwesigye (Proline).The second leg against Namibia will be played on the weekend of August 10, 11, 12. Morocco will host the finals tournament next year.
