RENOWNED RWANDAN WORSHIPER Israel Mbonyi has unveiled plans to start his world tour, starting September 17.
The 'Karame' hit maker announced the development on all his social media platforms noting that Canada will be the first country to witness his world tour.
Speaking to The New Times, Mbonyi said that the tour will kick off in Edmonton and proceed to different cities of Canada such as Winnipeg, Vancouver, Montreal and Ottawa.
The singer also noted that his tour aims at showcasing his second album dubbed ‘Icyambu’ as well as promote his ministry’s mission of preaching the gospel around the world.
"It is a huge blessing to be able to find my fans in different corners of the world and connect with them,” Mbonyi said, adding that the tour will not only focus on music but also have different interactions with fans and artistes of gospel music in the diaspora.
Mbonyi also announced on his social media platforms that he will conclude his tour in Kigali with a mega concert slated for December 25, at BK Arena.
During the world tour, all live performances will be recorded and put on CDs as well as all online streaming platforms for gospel fans to follow the concerts, Mbonyi highlighted.
According to the tour’s schedule, after performing in Ottawa the renowned worshipper will continue his world tour in Australia and Europe.
Mbonyi came as a big surprise to the Rwandan gospel industry when he released his first album labeled, ‘’Number One.’’ The album did not receive warm reception in the country alone, but crossed to the diaspora as well.
He has since received invitations to minister to different countries such as Mozambique, Israel, Belgium, Holland, Canada, among others. Mbonyi is also known for having sold out concerts in Rwanda.
