Editor,First and forest, I am writing to express my satisfaction with Arsenal FC’s recent progress. Though the gunners may not win a trophy this season, the team has disapproved its critics and convinced fans that with a few more players next season, they can easily become the team to beat in England and beyond.Their comprehensive Saturday’s win over Aston Villa (3-0) was a good result, their seventh straight Premier League win. I have supported Arsenal since 1998.  If they can bring in a few players and improve in depth and quality, Arsene Wenger can finally start to win trophies once again.Arsene, being the man who propelled Arsenal to its best days and molded some of the finest football players, still has the potential to produce both the free-flowing, mesmerising football he has always loved and trophies at the same time. The club is not in a bad financial situation, boasts talented and young players, and therefore, there is no reason why the fans should despair.If their recent form is anything to go by, I am sure Arsenal will finish among top three in the English premier league this season.
