Editor, The various efforts by the Ministry of Education designed to help improve the quality of education in Rwanda are commendable.Quality education is key to the transformation of nations.  Indeed, we cannot attain development if we do not revisit the priorities and setup of our education system, with a view of aligning it with the current labour demands. We cannot carry out standard research without well educated people.It is, therefore, important for the East African Community (EAC) Partner States to significantly invest in education to help produce qualified researchers and scientists who will play a significant role in the bloc’s development.Eric MugishaNyagatare
