Kenya is set to give more attention to the development of its natural products industry that is not formally integrated into the mainstream national economy to help drive the country’s efforts of diversifying it exports.The National Economic and Social Council (NESC), a think tank of private and public sector leaders that advises the president on economic matters, said on Saturday it has recommended that the team that is tasked with the development of the Natural Products Industry Policy get on with preparations of integrating the industry into the national economy through appropriate laws.
