Radisson Blu & Kigali Convention Centre management and staff were briefed on the history and decades of divisive politics that led to the Genocide against the Tutsi, one of the worst tragedies of the 20th century, and how Rwanda restored national unity, thanks to good leadership.
"As Radisson Blu & Kigali Convention Centre, we take this visit to the memorial very seriously because we bring our staff to learn about the Genocide. We have to remember it and ensure that everyone understands what happened. It is quite emotional, but it’s essential to keep the "flame burning "as a symbol of hope and courage Kucera said.
They laid wreaths to pay tribute to the Genocide victims.
The national mourning week was closed on April 13, but commemoration activities will continue for 100 days until July 3, the eve of Liberation Day.
