Editor,I wish to react to Diana Mpyisi’s piece, in The New Times, March, 21, titled "Can the UN be accountable to the youth?”For the youth, worldwide, what is important is to claim their rights and be able to participate in development processes of their countries. It is valid to mention that the youth need to organise themselves because that’s when their voices can be heard. Most of them are innovative and possess the energy required to develop their countries. But they will to abandon reckless lifestyles and lead lives that will earn them respect and trust from their leaders and elders.KenKigali
