Womanhood comes with patience

It’s said that women are one of the most patient souls; they are not quick to judge, give-up or breakdown even in the hardest of situations. All they do is obediently carry-on with life, pray and hope for the best, which is more than I can say for their male counterparts.

Daughter and mother. Women learn to endure through life, thanks to their patient nature.

It’s said that women are one of the most patient souls; they are not quick to judge, give-up or breakdown even in the hardest of situations. All they do is obediently carry-on with life, pray and hope for the best, which is more than I can say for their male counterparts. It’s understandable when a father for example, harshly judges or curses his mischievous son but wouldn’t it be quite shocking if a mother did the same? Why? This is because her maternal instinct won’t let her. Naturally, women are not known to do so. Perhaps this is the reason God suggested a companion for man (woman) aware that men are deficient of an attribute women possess in abundance.Women, withstanding the painful process of carrying another human being for nine months, patiently go through the rather torturous child delivery process. This alone is an indication of how strong and enduring they are. The fact that their responsibility is not just about taking care of their own lives, but the ones of their children, combined with their ability to  endure a drunkard and unfaithful husband, is reason enough that they  deserve immeasurable respect. The fact that women stick to their marriage amidst the sting of poverty, poisonous gossip from society and agony caused by unruly kids, is one reason they should be bowed-down at.Have you ever wondered why women dominate jobs in most financial institutions like banks? It’s nothing sexual biased as one may be forced to think. They are better because of their known patience, loyalty and trustworthy nature, unlike their male counterparts who are likely to get tempted into embezzling the institution’s money. A very famous worldwide model of patience and compassion, other women can emulate is the late mother Theresa of Calcutta. She patiently served the lowest of society, shared the little food she had with the hungry, exhibited a high level of endurance in loving everyone, to the extent of even forgetting her own needs. She was a perfect description of a mother. The most successful women in the world, for example, the likes of Oprah Winfrey and Joyce Meyer confess that they displayed a lot of patience to get to where they are today, be it in business, career and relationships. Patience is one of the most time- tested attributes every conqueror has to posses in this world. Have you heard of the saying "patience makes you reach the stars”? Are you a woman whose traits do not measure-up to the above description? Better style-up or else you risk tainting the title. By the way, not every female naturally qualifies to be a woman of patience; womanhood is a choice, a painful one, and it’s the chief virtue of womanhood. In conclusion, it is important to know that the, "I want it now” rule rarely works anywhere; certain things in life just do not come instantly because we live in a world of difficulties, challenges and hazards. Therefore, sometimes, things do not turn out the way we want or expect. Exercising quiet patience is what delivers us to our destinations most times.
