Less than one month after recording a remix of his famous song with professor J from Tanzania, Rwanda’s coga stylist Rafiki Mazimpaka is back at it again.

Last month he released a new single Icambere, icakabiri, nicagatatu (1, 2, and 3) that is hitting the streets and the children seem to love it most.

What is funny enough is that the little kids storm the streets singing it, without knowing its meaning. He takes the trouble to explain.

"While still in high school, I used to sit next to a very beautiful but dull girl. She would always to ask me to give her answers during exams because she never concentrated in class," said Rafiki. His song is based on this background.

He added, "One time when we were in a mathematics examination, she asked me the answer for the first question, the second, and when I was about to give her the third, the teacher saw us and we were both disqualified", explained the Rwandan PAM award winner.

This is what created a bond between them and the ultimate friendship.

The song goes on to describe how one time many years down the road, he was shocked to meet this same girl driving while he was watering a flower garden in the neighborhood.

"She helped me with some money because she was richer than me. So I was finally rewarded", he observed.
