Editor, I would like to respond to the article “KONY 2012 – The need for a better campaign” by Diana Mpyisi, March, 14. I am not sure the manifestation of Kony’s atrocious activities, especially to children changes anything. These issues continue to happen the world over, at different levels, from family to global levels.

As the title says, it’s about Kony and his atrocities, not development in northern Uganda. I guess all those affected kids are glad that somebody finally thought of them first rather than come up with a more diplomatically acceptable video.Please think of those kids first and use your platform to help them, and leave the politicians to deal with trying to portray the developmental issues.Willy
