Editor,Liban Mugabo’s piece in The New Times, March 15, titled "Three wishes for Rwanda” was revealing. Like many other African states, people from all over the world have come and invaded Rwanda and caused untold suffering.Rwanda needs such people like Mugabo to educate fellow Rwandans. It is known that death is never pleasant to people but the worst death of all is the death of HOPE.We need to be optimistic because, together, we are able to achieve better than what many developed countries have. No victory without suffering, no freedom without sacrifice. Rwandans suffered for the victory and here it is. Americans sacrificed their lives for freedom and they are enjoying the benefits. We are ready to take advice but not instructions from any outsiders because we know what is good for us. We need them as friends but not bosses. We should all pull towards having a better RWANDA.Julius Kalisa RwakaremaRwanda *****************Editor,Great article! There is a proverb that says ‘’Victory does not go to the side which wants it more but to the side which prepares the best.’’ Let us work harder in preparing a collective better future.Cinodrick masimbiNyarutarama
