APR women football coach Egidia Kayitesi is keen for her team to finally end their trophy drought this season by winning the league trophy.The Military side last won the trophy in 2008 but has since been over taken by rivals AS Kigali, who have won the championship three years in a row. "The league is more competitive this year because it will not be just us and AS Kigali competing but Remera Rukoma too."But that will not deter us from our number one objective this year, to win the league championship,” Kayitesi told Times Sport yesterday.After three games, Remera Rukoma tops the league with 9 points and are followed by APR with 7 points. Champions AS Kigali is third on 7 points though they have played a game less.Remera Rukoma will host APR on Saturday at Ferwafa artificial turf in a top of table clash which will bring out the very best from both sides.Eleven clubs including APR, Inyemera, Remera Rukoma, The Winners, Rambura, Nyarugenge, Imirasire, ESIR, AS Kigali, Bugesera, Les Lionness and the National University of Rwanda (NUR), are expected to take part in the six month league.
