THE Dutch top clubs keep on dropping points, with PSV Eindhoven and FC Twente crashing to NAC Breda 3-1 and NEC Nijmegen 3-1 respectively.League leaders AZ Alkmaar and Ajax profited from the mistakes of their rivals. AZ beat De Graafschap 2-0 in Doetinchem, while Ajax won 3-0 against RKC Waalwijk.PSV did take the lead against NAC, through Georginio Wijnaldum, but the home team bounced back via Santi Kolk and Anthony Lurling. Three minutes from half time, PSV had to continue with ten men after Stanislav Manolev was sent off with his second booking.After losing 6-2 at home against FC Twente and 4-2 away against Valencia CF in the Europa League, PSV suffered its third consecutive defeat. PSV coach Fred Rutten should fear for his position, the club will take a decision on Monday.FC Twente were outclassed by NEC Nijmegen, with the home team taking a 3-0 lead via Lasse Schone’s penalty and goals from Kevin Conboy and Genero Zeefuik. Substitute Glynor Plet scored the consolation goal of Twente.Also drew 1-1 against FC Utrecht, while sc Heerenveen beat Excelsior 4-2.AZ stayed on top of the Dutch league with 52 points out of 25 matches, three points ahead of new number two Ajax. Twente are third now with 48 points and one game in hand and PSV, Heerenveen and Feyenoord follow with 48, 48 and 45 points respectively.
