Rwanda allocated 831 Olympics tickets

The International Olympic Committee has allocated eight hundred thirty one Olympics event tickets to Rwanda. According to Daniel Beniston, the M&L Promotions manger, Rwandans as well as other residents from other parts of the world have an opportunity to attend the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008.

The International Olympic Committee has allocated eight hundred thirty one Olympics event tickets to Rwanda. According to Daniel Beniston, the M&L Promotions manger, Rwandans as well as other residents from other parts of the world have an opportunity to attend the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008.

M&L Promotions is the official ticketing agent for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. In an interview with Times Sport,Daniel Beniston said  that 831 tickets which were allocated to Rwanda are yet to be purchased thus calling on Rwandans to buy tickets before this month’s deadline.

"Tickets are available for Rwandans who will want to watch the preliminary rounds of both swimming and athletics events respectively,” Beniston said.

Beniston further added that more tickets can be secured for Rwandans who may want to watch other sports events like basketball, football, hockey, gymnastics, cycling, canoeing, diving, , basketball, modern pentathlon, rowing, sailing, shooting, water polo, boxing, weightlifting and wrestling.

According to Beniston, the International Olympic Committee didn’t allocate any Boxing and Swimming tickets to Rwanda thus the low number.

The price of the tickets ranges from $ 3.50(Frw. 1890) to $130(Frw.70200).

Individual ticket requests are available by contacting the local Olympic committee head office or direct contact to M&L Promotions M&L Promotions is also the official ticketing agent and sports tour provider for Rwanda’s Paralympics team for the Beijing 2008 Paralympics Games.

The Paralympics Games will take place in September 2008 in Beijing, China.
