According to the Daily Telegraph, Capello, who it is sometimes easy to forget is one of the most successful club managers of all time, would be keen on a "job swap” with Harry Redknapp should the Spurs boss take the national reins in the summer. The paper says that Capello is "monitoring what happens at Spurs if Champions League football is secured,” later adding: "Capello wants one more job in club management and he wants it to be away from his home country."The 65 year-old has had approaches from the Middle East that would be hugely lucrative, including taking on the role similar to that of a director of football across one of the fledgling leagues."But, despite appearances, he enjoyed working in London and does not feel disillusioned by the criticism he suffered while England manager.”The Telegraph claims that Carlo Ancelotti had originally been identified as a potential replacement for Redknapp before he moved to PSG and notes that "Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is also an admirer of another former Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho”.It adds: "Rafael Benitez would also want to be considered for the job while the link with Everton’s David Moyes - who Spurs face tomorrow - has faded.”Complicating matters is the fact that Chelsea are also now after a new manager, but the Blues will not get their top choice Pep Guardiola, according to The Sun.According to the paper, the Barcelona boss "has told those close to him he is not interested in a move to Stamford Bridge - despite the Spaniard stalling over a new two-year contract at the Nou Camp”.To transfer news: Arsenal are prepared to keep Robin van Persie for another season and risk losing him for nothing in 2013 even if he does not agree to extend his contract this summer. (Daily Telegraph)As reported widely, Arsenal have agreed a deal to sign Germany forward Lukas Podolski in the summer, and today there are claims that the Cologne man turned down a £200,000-a-week offer from mega-rich Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala to move to the Emirates. (The Guardian)Liverpool are the latest club to show an interest in Brazil and Vasco da Gama defender Dede. Manchester United are keen on the 23-year-old and Liverpool’s South American scout Diego Caniggia watched him against Allianza Lima. (Daily Mail)Fulham have opened talks with Clint Dempsey over a new contract. The 28-year-old, who has hit 18 goals this season, will be a free agent at the end of next season. (The Sun)Everton boss David Moyes has joined the chase for free-agent former Rangers winger Gregg Wylde. Moyes has contacted the Scotland U21 starlet and wants to offer him the chance to join his small squad. Aston Villa and Bolton are also interested. (Daily Mirror)Finally, Swansea will have to pay £6 million to sign loan star Gylfi Sigurdsson on a permanent basis. And even if boss Brendan Rodgers finds the money, he faces competition from European heavyweights Internazionale and Juventus, plus Aston Villa and Spain’s Malaga. (Daily Mirror)
