BE it the traditional or the modern, music will always pull crowds. One of Rwanda’s finest cultural artistes is hoping to draw as much attention during his performance next week.The legendary Kalisa Rugano will perform at Kacyiru’s based Ishyo Center on Wednesday, March 14.The show promises to be a vibrant display of rich, cultural talent. Entrance is free and the concert starts at 7p.m.Rugano, 66, is a genius on his instrument and a key soloist, making it a pure joy to play music. He has written over 26 plays in Kinyarwanda, Kirundi and French, and his poems can be portrayed as the gushing need for the revitalisation and rehabilitation.In 1980, he formed a group named Mukabutura Ballet Theater, which helped him showcase a collections of brilliant poems.
