URBAN Boyz have released a new video called ‘Reka Mpfukame’, (Let me kneel), named after a love-inspired hit.The group has also formed a company called ‘The super level’ that will be signing local artistes.The all-male vocalists recently released a new video-track, also dubbed ‘Reka Mpfukame’ - produced from The Benjamin studio in Kigali.Urban Boyz was formed in 2008 and the group is made up of Safi Niyibikora, James Manzi and Mohamed Nshimiyimana."Music is who we are. Our concepts may be different; obviously, its four years later, we’ve grown,” Safi Niyibikora told The New Times. "It’s the only thing that has really kept us together for four years. The concept of music is still the same, but what we write and think about nowadays is a little different, but the main objective is still all about love.”The group is known for hits like ‘Ishyamba’, ‘Sindi indyarya’, ‘Urukingo’ and ‘Indahiro’. Urban Boyz recently collaborated with Uganda’s songstress Jackie Chandiru in the song, ‘Take it off’.Commenting on the group’s chances in the ongoing Primus Guma Guma Superstar competition, Safi expressed delight Urban Boyz is among the 20 nominees from whom the 10 finalists will be picked. "We are confident because we have quality music and videos; however, we are also ready for whatever will come out on the final day,” Safi said. "We thank all our fans for their support and we request them to continue voting for us,” he added.The group, which is also on the shortlist for this year’s Salax Awards, is due to release another single called BMW (Be My Wife) next weekend. BMW was produced from Uganda – by Washington.
