Adele has topped a poll to see who fans most want to record the new James Bond theme.The singer beat Muse to lead the list, which left the ‘Uprising’ stars in second place and the Foo Fighters at number three for acts people would most like to see sing the James Bond Skyfall track.U2 came fourth, Florence + the Machine were fifth and the Arctic Monkeys ranked at number six in the poll run by IGN, which also included votes for Lana Del Rey and Guns N’ Roses.Rihanna rounded off the top 10, which saw Beyoncé, Plan B, Noel Gallagher and Take That fail to reach higher places in the poll.Adele has previously been linked with recording the James Bond Skyfall theme, with previous 007 soundtrack contributor Sir Tom Jones saying she would be the "perfect choice”.The 23rd James Bond movie Skyfall was officially announced back in November and will be released in cinemas on October 26, 2012.
