Speaking in Accra at a roundtable discussion on "Biometric Voters’Registration and Verification System in West Africa: Nigeria’sExperience, Ghana’s Perspective” on Wednesday, Jega said engagement between the Electoral Commission (EC) and various stakeholders was very important to hold a peaceful and transparent election in Ghana."Everything should be explained so that it is well understood so that others will also be able to explain to others about what is beingone, so that there is no room for rumors and there is transparency in the way the processes are done,” he noted.
