Editor,I am very excited that Rwanda will soon have its first public library! A friend of mine from the United States has been involved in this project and I am very sure that he is anxious for the library to open.

I started reading at a very young age and, to this day, I stick my nose into a book at every opportunity. Books are the windows to the world and everyone should have the opportunity to discover all the wonders that books can show you. Good Luck and I’ll be waiting to read all about the Grand Opening!Marie CollinsManitoba, CanadaEditor,I had the wonderful opportunity to tour inside the new public library when I visited Rwanda in the summer of 2011. I smiled when I thought about all the children who will enjoy and benefit from visiting it and reading books! Not only are books the windows to the world but also the windows to our own backyards. We need to support all children in creating a vision for a better tomorrow.EufemiaUSA - Lorraine D
