Editor,Reference is made to your story entitled "Taxi-Motos now protest over costs of head covers”, March, 5. Since the order enforcing use of smart head covers came into effect from March, 1, majority of motorists are now using the gadgets. I have personally used smart head covers and appreciate it because it protects me from contracting skin related diseases.As a regular passenger, this is a timely initiative considering the healthrisks associated with putting a vastly-shared, bare helmet on your head. One motorcyclist carries dozens of passengers a day, giving each of them the same helmet, which is a recipe for fast spreading of skin diseases.I would like to thank all the stakeholders, including the Ministry of Health, the Rwanda National Police and passengers for working together to promote use of head covers. I urge the Taxi-Moto operators to cooperate and help promote good service delivery. Frank Gakwaya
