Editor, I was delighted to read an article in The New Times of March 5, titled "100 CEOs for Inspire Africa Grand Finale.”It is extremely encouraging to read that the Rwanda Development Board ( RDB) and the Private Sector Federation ( PSF) both came forward to support the initiatives of ‘ Inspire Africa ‘ and to encourage the 24 contestants from Rwanda , Kenya , Uganda and Tanzania ,who were expected to display their best management skills in a highly competitive environment .The pro-active approach of the Rwandan government, along with the full support of the private sector, has paid off with Inspire Africa set to announce the setting up of the multi-million, state-of-the-art Inspire Africa Academy, in this beautiful Land of a Thousand Hills and a Million Smiles.   Wishing them every success.

Annet Bateta   NyagatareEditor,I am very happy with how the government of Rwanda has supported this initiative. It is such a great chance we couldn’t lose especially since we are on course to building a knowledge-based economy. This is the only way of supporting the private sector and sensitizing the young people to become job creators other than seekers. For example, if you ask students what they want to become in the future, majority of them will tell you they want to be pilots, teachers or soldiers. Few of them will tell you they will open up their own businesses. This initiative, therefore, comes in handy to change the mindset of our young generation. Seth - Kigali
