Kanyombya set to unveil new movie

Local actor Ndjoli Kayitankore, better known by his stage name Kanyombya will this month release his latest movie dubbed ‘Birakureba’.Kanyombya told The New Times that apart from Inyambo troupe actors, the film will also include new actors Nic and Mark - City Radio presenters, famous in ‘Abalezi Family’ talk show, in which Kanyombya features."In this film, we are trying to remind the public that all Rwandans should actively take part in the development of the country,” Kanyombya explains.He notes that the film calls for love and unity amongst the population so as to work hard as a team to solve not only family issues, but also national challenges."If things are not going on well, for example, the customer care in this country, we should not play blame games - but instead try to identify good service providers,” he adds."At one point, everyone of us is a service provider only that we do it differently depending on the work one does.” Kanyombya says that the film comes as part of the implementation of his plans as regards the formation of the comedy troupe- Inyambo.On forming the troupe, he notes that he will focus on educating the public on issues affecting them.The Inyambo troupe is also taking part in the tuberculosis prevention campaign after signing a partnership with Health Development Initiative (HDI), a non-profit organisation in Rwanda, in partnership with World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Stop TB Partnership.
