According to reliable sources, Robert Mugabe missed his team’s music tour to the United States of America. The twenty year old artist said that he did not go because he is preparing for school.

"The main reason why I did not go with my team mates to the US was that it coincided with my school work schedules. I have been advised by my sponsors to put studies a head of any other thing and I think it is a good advice”, Mugabe said in an interview.

He is a young man who thinks a lot on improving his music career. The team as a whole has developed different visions and goals.

He added that, "We have been working together as a team since we were picked by African New Life Ministries. But since we are grown up now, each one of us is struggling to get studies in different universities, so that we may end up better as individuals”.

The first year student at a School of Finance and Banking (SFB) is planning to do big projects in his music career after studies.

These projects will be meant to help and support orphans and street kids. He shares a lot in common with them as he lived a similar life before.

The artist, who started singing at the age of 13, is sponsored by Joyce and Rom Pepos. He is an instrumental artist in his team as a song writer, singer and plays drums.

Some of his songs have been recorded on Hindurwa album and other 30 songs are in writing, waiting to be recorded when he settles.

Mugabe’s inspiration to music goes back to Reggae, RnB, Slow music and Rwanda traditional music styles.

Hindurwa had toured the United States in 2006 and 2007. They went to schools, churches, and universities all over Washington, Oregon, Idaho and California. The team of young stars went back March this year, for spring April-June 2008 music tour.
