Police’s integrity beyond reproach

Editor, The story about a police officer, Jérôme Bisesetsa, attached to the Kigali International Airport who found a bag containing Euros 2, 225 (about Rwf1.7 million) and $53, and returned it safely to its delighted Ethiopian owner has not done proud to the force only but the nation at large.

Editor,The story about a police officer, Jérôme Bisesetsa, attached to the Kigali International Airport who found a bag containing Euros 2, 225 (about Rwf1.7 million) and $53, and returned it safely to its delighted Ethiopian owner has not done proud to the force only but the nation at large. It seems integral values within our police force keep going up. Let’s not only congratulate the officer, but also the institution which has created an environment that instills and natures such exceptional values and discipline. They must have put in place incentives that encourage such outstanding character; incentives meant here are an upgraded personal and wage policy. If the officer had chosen not to give it back and he got caught, what would have happened? Big up for the institutional reforms. Will, Austria**********I can’t be happy enough for such levels of integrity that our policemen continue to exhibit! Praise be to God for keeping them faithful! I hope and pray that other men in uniform do the same and hopefully will continue to do the same, especially traffic officers. Cheers to you Jerome!Charles, Kacyiru**********Great News!! Glad to hear that there trustworthy officers who could return money they have picked unattended. This officer should be commended and given an exemplary award. Keep up the good work. Cheers!!Greg, LA
