The Super Eagles are expected to arrive tonight ahead of Wednesday’s 2013 African Nations Cup first leg qualifier against the Amavubi Stars at Kigali Regional Stadium.According to Ferwafa Chief Executive Officer Michel Gasingwa, on arrival, the team will head straight to Umubano Hotel.Stephen Keshi’s side will then have a feel of the venue for Wednesday’s match with a training session tomorrow afternoon.Keshi, whose team is a blend of professional and locally based players, will rely heavily on Blackburn rovers’ powerful forward Yakubu Ayegbeni and Sani Kaita, both of whom have not donned the Nigerian jersey since the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.Kaita earned a red card for retaliation in Nigeria’s second group phase match against Greece in Bloemfontein while Ayegbeni has been overlooked since missing a sitter against the Republic of Korea in Durban. That miss ended the Super Eagles dream of qualifying for the Round of 16 at Africa’s first World Cup finals.Other professionals in the side include goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama, defenders Joseph Yobo (Captain) and Taye Taiwo; midfielders Joel Obi, Dickson Etuhu and Victor Moses.Ahmed Musa, Ikechukwu Uche and Osaze Odemwingie complete the list.
