ENGLAND’s ability to deal with Pakistan spinner Saeed Ajmal is a major reason they have turned the tour around, according to twenty20 hero Jonny Bairstow. The Yorkshireman starred in England’s 38-run victory in Dubai on Saturday, when even Ajmal’s usual dastardly spin could not help Pakistan avoid defeat.Although Ajmal was Pakistan’s most economical bowler, conceding 20 runs from his four overs and claiming the wicket of Kevin Pietersen, he was not at his most lethal.England were able to record a 38-run victory to draw level at 1-1 in the series and set up a deciding match in Abu Dhabi today.Bairstow scored a rapid 60 not out and was named man of the match for his innings.Asked about Ajmal, who has been the nemesis of England’s batsmen during their two-month battle against Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates, Bairstow said: "He’s obviously a world-class bowler."The boys have played him pretty well in the last couple of games. We’ve been talking about it and I think we’re coming through with that.”Bairstow insisted on sharing the credit for England’s win.Opener Craig Kieswetter scored a handy 31 and Steven Finn continued his fine form with three wickets.Bairstow’s 46-ball knock was a major factor in the result, however the Yorkshire player said: "I was pretty pleased to get those runs, but it had all been set up really."Craig played really well first up. That set up a platform for us.”
