LYON are ready to extend midfielder Honorato Ederson’s contract but only if the Brazilian takes a salary cut.Ederson, 26, has fallen down the pecking order and is desperate to find first team action in order to keep his bid to play in the 2014 World Cup alive."We’re ready to get him to sign again at Lyon if he accepts our conditions, less than what he has today which is well above the market,” said Aulas of the player whose contract runs out next June. The Brazilian arrived in Lyon in 2008 on a four-and-a-half year deal worth 14 million euros, spending the first six months on loan to previous club Nice, but has complained about not having played enough."I always said that my priority was to continue at Lyon but things aren’t moving forward,” said Ederson."I have personal objectives, noteably to make my way back into the Brazil team. The 2014 World Cup is in my country and I hope to play in it.”
