New entrants into the Big Brother Africa show Sierra Leone and Liberia are anxiously waiting to tune in to the continental reality contest.Joining the show at a time when the M-Net series, which airs on DStv, has introduced a $300,000 cash prize, it has attracted a lot of attention from across the two countries."The whole thing is exciting…. This is an opportunity for Sierra Leonean models,” says Dr Adonis Abboud, the Chairman of Transnational (SL) Ltd, who, through his Freetown based company, has been involved in discussions to have the West African country included in the show.SL Ltd is the official agent of the show in the country. It is currently embarking on intensive publicity as part of the recruitment.News of the inclusion of Sierra Leone and Liberia has been on headlines since it broke. But as the deadline for submission of entry approaches, the process appears to be going at a not-so-encouraging pace, according to Vicktoria Jarr, Marketing Manager at Transnational (SL) ltd.She appears unsettled with only about 20 people so far having collected entry forms. And worst of all, none of those have returned the completed forms.Ms Jarr says about three more people reportedly filled in the entry forms through the online alternative provided by the organisers in South Africa."It is the self-doubt that is affecting them,” she said."Sierra Leone needs to portray a good thing.
