Newly-refurbished Kigali Pele Stadium will host a league game for the first time in 2023 when Police FC take on title chasers APR FC on Saturday, April 22.
The facility was closed in late December last year to pave way for renovation works which included replacing the astro turf.
It was officially reopened in March during the FIFA Congress when it hosted the Football Delegation Tournament.
The tournament, which attracted top football executives from FIFA, CAF and other confederations as well as football legends, was part of the Stadium renaming ceremony during which it was named after late Brazilian football icon Pele who died in 2022.
It hosted first competitive match on March 29 when Rwanda hosted Benin in an AFCON qualifier after which the pair played out a 1-1 draw.
Saturday's game will be the very first league encounter to be played at Kigali Pele Stadium and there is a possibility that all the eight Kigali-based clubs, which currently play their home matches at either Muhanga Stadium or Bugesera Stadium, could use it for the remainder of their home games.
