Nyamirambo to host 2013 Afcon qualifier

THE 2013 Nations Cup qualifier between Rwanda and Nigeria scheduled for February 29 has been shifted from Amahoro Stadium to Kigali regional stadium, Nyamirambo.

THE 2013 Nations Cup qualifier between Rwanda and Nigeria scheduled for February 29 has been shifted from Amahoro Stadium to Kigali regional stadium, Nyamirambo.According to Ferwafa, Amahoro stadium is undergoing renovation.Meanwhile, CAF has also replaced South African assistant referee Enock Molefe with Luyanda Somi.The 36-year old Daniel Bennett will be handle next week’s match while Zakhele Thusi Siwela remained the first assistant referee and Tinyiko Victor Hlungani as the reserve referee. Hassan Waberi Suleiman from Djibouti will be the match commissioner.Amavubi continued with their training session yesterday at Nyamirambo stadium. Foreign based players like Berch Bamuma, Dady Birori, Kalisa Mao, Bony Bayingana and Charles Tibingana are in all in camp.Haruna Niyonzima arrived last night while France-based Elias Uzamukunda will join camp before Friday.Head coach Milutin Sredojevic Micho will be guiding Rwanda to their eighth win after seven wins, two draws and one defeat since November last year when he was appointed coach of amavubi team.
