Editor,I am happy to learn that the government directed the closure of the Nyanza landfill.  The residents of Kigarama, Kicukiro District have been complaining about the garbage dumped in the area, but their complaints had often fallen on deaf ears.  Kigali City leadership seemed not to be concerned at all!I hope Kigali City technocrats will not make it an endless exercisewith their bureaucratic procedures as they are known for shiftingdeadlines all the time. The initial deadline was January, 23, 2012, but it’s now three months since the directive. Let’s wait and see.Ruti, Kicukiro
