Another varsity beauty contest is on the horizon. Twenty students have joined the race for the second Rwanda Tourism University College (RTUC) beauty pageant – for both Mr and Miss.The event scheduled for March 9, will be held under the theme, "Building successful skills and customer care to boost business in Rwanda.”RTUC rector, Callixte Kabera, said that at least 11 female and nine male students have been confirmed for the preliminary contest."The reason for the preliminary contest is to select the best 16 who will proceed to the next stage,” Kabera said.Winners will walk away with various packages, including cash prizes.Kabera said that the winners are expected to receive a cash prize of Rwf400, 000, each, among other accolades; while the first and second runner-ups, will walk away with Rwf300, 000 and 200,000, respectively.
