In an effort to make journalists understand more about the functioning of the Ministry of Justice, officials this week organized a two-day seminar in Kigali aimed at sensitizing the media on the operations of the ministry and other state agencies operating under or closely associated with it.
The meeting, which took place at Hotel des Milles Collines was also attended by officials from the police, prisons, the Ombudsman’s Office, Nyanza Law Development Centre and the Rwanda Human Rights Commission.
Information Minister Louise Mushikiwabo said such seminars were important in helping equip journalists with vital information necessary in their daily work. She urged journalists to stick to professional ethics.
