Remember the days when you were still a cry-baby in your mother’s arms? I guess you cannot because that was so far back – at the beginning of your life. Your parents or other people who watched your infanthood can bear witness for anything you might not remember.
Remember the days when you were still a cry-baby in your mother’s arms? I guess you cannot because that was so far back – at the beginning of your life. Your parents or other people who watched your infanthood can bear witness for anything you might not remember. Those are the days when sugar ,ice cream and lollipops tasted so good that you would use any means available(however dubious) to get some. Those are the days when the world seemed like it was all about watching cartoons and playing video games all day. Thanks to growing up, you are no longer that helpless fellow who wet your bed or pants. You can now shower and wash clothes for yourself and you know how to behave when in public. As a child, jumping from a balcony of a flat to the ground just to prove to your peers that you are superhuman, seemed like a cool thing to do. Now you are smart enough to realize that there is no such thing as superhuman! It is quite encouraging that you are no longer tempted into doing things that benefit you only. Common sense and understanding took over the issues that got your behind traumatized by the thorough beating. That was the time when you could not tell the difference between good and bad. It was the time when everything seemed like food: stones, sand, cockroaches, millipedes, and frogs name it and actual food ended up on the walls! Gone are the days when you went on hunger strike, just because Mummy scolded you. That was also the time when you fought or cried for property that belonged to the neighbor’s kid. Childhood, what a time! Now that you are all grown-up; free from ignorance, naivety and foolishness, you can make sound judgment. You have come to terms with the world you live in and gotten the strength to handle your disappointments and challenges singlehandedly.
