Three Kenyans were killed and another three injured in a bandit attack in South Sudan, police said on Sunday.  Turkana divisional police commander Jonathan Ngala confirmed the incident but could not give details because he had not received communication from South Sudan. "It is true the three Kenyans were killed in an ambush last Wednesday. We don’t know the motive of the killing but the bodies have arrived in the country,” Ngala told Xinhua on phone from Lokichiggio on Sunday. The bodies of the victims arrived in Kitale to an emotional reception from relatives who jammed the local hospital. A group of 25 Kenyans from Trans-Nzoia had been recruited by an Asian businessman in Kitale to work at a construction site at Kapoeta County in South Sudan. Eleven of the group was dropped at a construction site at Narus while the rest proceeded to Chukutum 300km away. Henry Simiyu, a survivor said they were driving in a pick up from Narus to Chukutum when seven men armed with assault rifles emerged from a bush and opened fire at them.
