"Of course we equalized later on but who knows the impact this goal would have had to the rest of the match.”Kayiranga also conceded that his side was below par at times."We did not play to our full potential. We gave away so many balls and did not play to our strength.”Ndayishimiye eventually equalized for Kiyovu through a powerful header after Mwinyi Kazimoto had given Simba the lead at the stroke of half time.After the return leg in a fortnight, the winner will face ESS of Algeria in the round of 16. The last time Kiyovu competed in the competition was in 1994 when they were knocked out in the preliminary round.
