ISONGA is at risk of being docked three points after using an unregistered player during their 3-2 win over AS Kigali on Wednesday afternoon.According to a letter written by AS Kigali to Ferwafa, the national football governing body, the club claims midfielder Solomon Nirisarike is not eligible to play for the youthful side after signing for Belgian club Royal Antweerp. On February 8, a list of players who had finalized their transfers was posted on the Ferwafa website indicating that Nirisarike had joined Antweerp.Isonga club officials were hesitant to comment on the issue but Ferwafa Chief Executive Officer Michel Gasigwa told Times Sport that the federation is going to look into the matter."We are going to look into the issue and we promise that appropriate action will be taken,” he said. The most likely penalty is AS Kigali being awarded the three points which means that Isonga would drop to 10th place with 10 points.
