Music star Bruce Melodie and his management are not resting as they seem to be working out something big for their fans. Just a week after successful music projects in Tanzania, the singer is now shifting focus on creating fresh linkups with Nigerian music stars as he now looks to push his music to the West African market.
The ‘Selebura’ hit maker, born Bruce Itahiwacu, Thursday morning departed Kigali International Airport, and left for Lagos where he has a number of music projects with some top Nigerian music stars.
"I already have artistes in my mind that I am going to record songs with. Unfortunately, I won’t tell you their names at the moment. I look forward to extending my music boundaries to Nigeria,” Bruce Melodie told The New Times.
"I will however, meet a couple of them during my stay not just to record songs but to build a network that can benefit our music either way,” he added.
Bruce Melodie left the country with his team which includes his manager Coach Gael, the CEO of 1:55AM management to which the singer is currently signed, and producer Element Eleeeh who will be working on some of the songs that the singer plans to record during his weeklong stay in Nigeria.
The team will, upon arrival, be received by Nigerian top deejay Neptunez who twice traveled to Kigali in 2022. He first took his decks to the Rwanda capital during the ‘ChopLife’ concert held at BK Arena in June, before he returned two months later as a member of the jury that was in charge of picking the winner of the ‘Battle of the DJs’ finale in August.
