Turnover shoots up at Stock Market

The Rwanda Stock Exchange Thursday recorded high turnover compared to the previous trading session, despite share prices remaining stable. According to the RSE daily market report, the trading session recorded a turnover of Rwf72,531,400 from 61,200 Bank of Kigali (BK) and 200,200 Bralirwa shares which traded in 7 deals compared to Wednesday’s trading session which recorded a turnover of Rwf1,982,500 from 6,100 Bralirwa shares traded in 4 deals."BK and Bralirwa shares traded and closed at Rwf122 and Rwf325 respectively; unchanged from the previous trading closing prices,” the report stated. KCB shares last transacted at Rwf140 while NMG shares last transacted at Rwf1,200. On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding bids of 87,000 shares between Rwf315 and Rwf322 and outstanding offers of 270,000 shares between Rwf328 and Rwf340.On KCB counter, there was an outstanding bid of 1,700 shares at Rwf135 and no outstanding offer.
