Zambian President Michael Sata has with immediate effect appointed the first female inspector-general of the Zambia Police and a new director-general of the Zambia Security Intelligence Service (ZSIS), a statement from his office released on Tuesday said.The Zambian leader has appointed Stella Libongani as the new inspector-general of the Zambia Police, becoming the first female to head the police since the country’s independence in 1964, the statement released by his special assistant for press and public relations George Chellah said.
