SIMBA’s influential midfielder Patrick Mafisango has been fined Rwf186, 797 for misconduct in the Tanzania Vodacom league just days before the club’s Orange Confederation Cup preliminary round first leg against Kiyovu.Mafisango, who also played for Atraco and APR, was fined for pushing referee Isihaka Shirikisho after dismissing Haruna Moshi in a league match against Oljoro JKT at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.Simba has also been fined a similar amount for failing to control their fans in the fracas.The Tanzanian side jets in tomorrow ahead of Saturday’s Confederation Cup match at Kigali Regional stadium.Kiyovu, who were held to a goalless draw by Etincelles in their final match of the Primus League first round on Saturday, are undergoing residential training at Isangano, Gikondo.The winner over two legs will meet Entente Sportive (ES) Setif of Algeria in the round of 16.
