Mostly in this period when Rwandans are commemorating the Genocide, children need to be protected from things which may scare them.

When children hear scaring stories or watch terrifying things, they can have nightmares.

Children can not only get nightmares but also have a long term effect of what they saw. Young people can develop unnecessary fears or developed hatred for certain things.

It is in this context therefore, that we should protect our children from unnecessary fear and other things that may come as a result of what they watch and hear.

Keep them free from things that can disturb their minds, children need to be protected from bad films. If we need a better Rwanda, then we should learn how to feed our children with the right information.
