Help police to avert murder cases
Editor, Allow me to respond to a story that appeared in The New Times, February, 11 titled “Musanze registers a rise in murder cases”. While it is good news to hear that Police in the district is holding 13 people in connection with three murder cases that occurred last week, a lot more needs to be done to stop killings.

While it is good news to hear that Police in the district is holding 13 people in connection with three murder cases that occurred last week, a lot more needs to be done to stop killings.
While police has done a good job to ensure the rule of law and protect lives, Rwandans ought to realise that police cannot do this alone. Ensuring peace and protection of people’ lives is everybody’s responsibility. Let us closely work with the police more to end the vice.Winnie MukeshimanaMusanze
