The Republic of Congo's Higher Education Ministry has outlined the features of the country's new university whose construction work will begin in April.
The university which will be based at Kintele in northern Brazzaville, is expected to be the center of excellence in the training of future workers in the Central African region. "Today, it's not enough to just be educated, but it's also important for one to have skills on how to resolve challenges facing humanity.
This is why we shall be constructing this ultramodern training university that will serve the Central African region," said Theophile Obenga, a Congolese professor who came up with the idea of the university said on Thursday, last week.
