U-17 head coach Richard Tardy has named a provisional 30-man squad for the 2013 Africa Youth Championship qualifiers. Tardy, who guided the junior wasps to the final of the 2011 Africa Youth Championship as well as the 2011 Fifa U-17 World Cup, in Mexico, will work with the youngsters for the next two weeks before naming his final 23-man squad.

Just like last year, the top four sides at the 2013 AYC will qualify for the 2013 Fifa U-17 World Cup which will be hosted by the United Arab Emirates.
